Code Sample Notes
If the Code Samples in the e-Business & e-Commerce Cyber Classroom do not execute, or if you get JavaScript error messages when you attempt to run them, you need to download a software patch program that will allow you to run the Code Samples. After installing the Patch Program, you must launch both the Cyber Classroom and Patch Program and run both applications at the same time. Please follow the steps below to get the software patch:
- Click here to download the EbizPatch.exe file [Approx 8.7MB]
- Locate the EbizPatch.exe file on your local drive and double click on it.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install.
- Launch the e-Business & e-Commerce Cyber Classroom from Start\Programs\PTG Interactive\e-Business & e-Commerce Multimedia Cyber Classroom.
- Launch the Code Sample Patch for the e-Business & e-Commerce Cyber Classroom from Start\Programs\PTG Interactive\e-Business Cyber Classroom Code Samples.
- Note that you can toggle back and forth between the
Patch Program and the Cyber Classroom by using the "Back to Cyber Classroom"
button located in the top of the Patch Program's navigation frame. You will
also have full audio and save code functionality within the Patch Program.
Installing Cyber Classroom products on Windows 2000
Because of Window 2000's security model, you must be logged in as the
Administrator when you install the Cyber Classroom. The installation will fail
if you log in as a general user and input the Administrator password when
prompted to do so during the installation. Once you finish the installation, you
must run the Cyber Classroom as Administrator, or make the following folders,
and all of their subfolders, writeable by everyone: C:\Program Files\PTG
