Java Multimedia Cyber Classroom, 2/E Technical Report |
PREVIOUS SESSION FEATURE |
When you reopen the Cyber Classroom from a previous session, it should reopen to the place in the Cyber Classroom where you were when you left it. This is currently not working. A patch will be made available from this site to fix this error. |
The Cyber Classroom display engine is written in the Java programming language. At this time Java only supports 11 KHz audio sampling rates. As a result the audio will have a slightly "tinny" sound. |
On Windows systems, the Cyber Classroom and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) are installed by default in the C:\Windows\Program Files\Cyber Classroom folder. The path to the Java class files in this folder is set dynamically each time you launch the Cyber Classroom. If your system PATH variable is long, you may get an "Out of environment space" error when you launch the Cyber Classroom. To correct this problem, you need to allocate more environment space to your system variables. To do so, place the following line in your config.sys file and reboot your system: shell=command.com /e:512 /p |
